The South Coast Beach Project is a 4 month spring/summer Christian discipleship and community living experience for young adults. Participants engage in intentional community living with bible study and discussions while engaging with the community through full time work.
The location is Port Dover, Ontario.
The Brief
SOCO launched it’s first year in the summer of 2021, 4 months from May to August.
It was in need of a complete branding system: logo, website, promotional, print, and social media design.
Located in Port Dover, the big selling point of this program is the busy tourist summer life, perfect for seasonal jobs, and the beach for participants to have a rewarding summer vacation while they work and live together.
To showcase the beach in this logo was important, but also equally important was the requirement to not make it cheesy like other beach front restaurants or surf shops.
The window design is used because at the SoCo Beach Project, we are inviting young adults to step out into the world and be open to a new, growing experience through community. Having the open window design also gives the space to show the beach/summer atmosphere of the project.
